FOUNDATIONS

At the beginning stages of learning lacrosse, we want all players to focus on being great with their dominant hand. This class will focus on passing, catching, picking up ground balls and being able to cradle with the dominant hand so that players can ultimately compete in 1v1 or 2v1 settings. Players will be run through specific drills and also compete in small-sided games. Our Foundations class is focused on building strong all-around lacrosse players who needs more work on his/her dominant hand fundamentals. No Prerequisite Classes Required. Please note that players need all equipment for this class: Boys (stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads and shoulder pads). ONLY Sneakers or Turf shoes allowed.

YOUNG STARZ

Young Starz is a great way for young intermediate and advanced players to receive developmental training while continuing to build their love of lacrosse through playing games. Each session focuses on fundamental stick skill development (cradling, loose ball acquisition and control, throwing, dodging) and small sided skills (1v1s, 2v1s, 2v2s). Each session ends with short sided games which are fast paced and fun while maximizing touches in the condensed field space which creates an exponential amount of game play moments for players to engage with and learn from. If the Young Starz class is not an appropriate level class for your child, we do reserve the option to move your child to a class where he would develop his skills prior to taking the Young Starz class. Please note that players need all equipment for this class: Boys (stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads and shoulder pads). ONLY Sneakers or Turf shoes allowed.

SHOOTING & DODGING 1

This class will teach the player everything they need to know to develop. Players will get a chance to work on basic footwork into dodges (split, jab, roll, face) starting at a slow pace before going at it full speed. In order to become strong dodgers we believe that it is important that players have the proper footwork and technique before ultimately incorporating the upper body and the proper shooting form. In one of our classes players can expect to take close to 150 shots or more while being challenged by our coaches to focus on their accuracy and power. No Prerequisite Classes Required.
