BBL North Hires Andy Bryant as Director of Travel/Academy

BBL North is excited to announce the addition of Andy Bryant (Director of BBL North Boys Travel and Academy) to the program’s management team. Bryant will focus on building the year round Academy programming and develop a variety of ne

w training offerings focused on Position Specific Training (Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goaltending, and Face Offs) and Advanced Game Play for 5th-HS, as well as training specifically targeting the development and lacrosse enjoyment of 1st-4th graders.

His other focus will be on building new relationships with town program directors, high school coaches and top level players in Bergen, Passaic, Rockland, Orange and Essex counties.

Bryant graduated from Montclair High School in 2010 where he won a Group IV state Title and made it to the Semi Finals of TOC. Bryant was recruited to Fairfield University and transferred to Montclair State University before transitioning into high school coaching.

He has coached at prestigious high schools such as Glen Ridge and Montclair as well as being the Club Program Manager at Trilogy Lacrosse. Bryant believes in the motto “Ubuntu” which translates to “I am, because you are.” With that in mind, he is excited to give to the BBL Program in an industry that has given him so much.

“The potential and opportunity to continue growing BBL and continue to solidify our position as the best program/club in the state is what my goal is,” Bryant said. “I'm looking forward to providing top level lacrosse experiences for the region and adding more families to the BBL community.”

BBL co-founder Andrew Hubschmann says that with the help of Andy Bryant, BBL North will further draw top players from the multi-county region to become the top destination for the most talented players for Travel and Training.

“Andy Bryant brings a wealth of experience from his time in the club lacrosse world. We are very excited to be adding someone of his caliber to help continue to grow the BBL North program. BBL North co-founders Sal Sassano and Jeff Eischen have been instrumental in building the BBL North program to where we are now and they will continue to be involved in day to day operations. Andy is joining the management team to help continue to enhance the program. We like his experience as a high school coach at storied programs Glen Ridge and Montclair as well as currently serving as a Division 1 assistant at NJIT. What you will see over the next year is that BBL North will further draw top players from the multi-county region to become the top destination for the most talented players for Travel and Training. Players no longer need to travel 45mins to experience AA lacrosse. BBL is providing that in their backyard.
